Complete packaging line for glass wool insulation
August 2023, delivered in the USA.
Complete project for pressing and packing glass wool insulation “blowing wool”.
In total 3 balers, 1 robot stacking system for stacking bales coming from all 3 balers. Plus a full automatic stretch hood machine, for packing the finished pallets in a plastic hood. Good for a total capacity of ca 7.7 tons/ hour of glass wool packing.
All fully automatic. Balers provided with automatic foil roll change. This means, the balers are not stopped while changing roll of plastic. So they keep on baling while foil change takes place.
A Fanuc robot stacks the bales. The bales are stacked on cardboard sheet. So not pallets are required.
The sides from the cardboard sheet are folded up, when the stretch hood machine pulls over a protection sleeve. This protects the bales from weather conditions. And keeps them properly stacked together. Holding the cardboard sheet together with the stack.
Total System controlled with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI. All turn key delivered by Willems to USA.
